  • Do we have to pay to enter?
    No the cafe and viewing area are all free to enter.
  • Do you recommend making a table booking?
    Yes we always recommend booking a table to avoid disappointment, especially if you plan to visit at a busy time such as lunch or at the weekends. To make a table booking please use our online Reservations page or if booking for a party get in touch directly using our Contact Us page.
  • Do you offer gift vouchers?
    Yes we offer a range of gift vouchers; £10, £20, Afternoon Tea & Sparkling Afternoon Tea. To buy a voucher you can either call in and purchase one over the counter, or alternatively call the cafe on 01484 680300 and buy one over the phone. 
  • Do you offer the venue for private hire?
    We now offer a private function room available to hire for larger groups up to 50 people. The function room is on the same floor as the cafe and themed with all our usual vintage motoring memorabilia as is available to hire during the cafe opening hours.   • What are your opening times?
    The Carding Shed is open to visitors Tuesday – Sunday 10:00 – 4:00 and Bank Holiday Monday 10:00 – 4:00.
  • Do you cater for dietary requirements like Gluten free?
    We cater for almost all dietary requirements, Gluten Free and Vegetarian dishes are marked in the menu but for further information just ask a member of staff.
  • Do you allow dogs inside the cafe?
    We are allow dry, well behaved dogs inside our private function room located adjacent to main cafe seating area. Please be aware that this area is not available when booked for a private function.
  • What are your disabled facilities like?
    Our cafe, car display area and disabled toilets are all on the same floor and can be accessed by a drop-off/pick-up zone directly outside the cafe door making for easy access. We also have two carparks, one above and one below the cafe. We recommend using the top carpark as this has two disabled spaces and is closer to the cafe entrance.
